Update

Well, yesterday, I was released from my calling in the Cub Scouts. It was nice to work with the boys, but scheduling was quite crazy. Trying to get my younger girls to activity days at 2 different places and my older 2 to mutual without Jed here during the week turned into quite a juggling act. They say they have a calling for Jed and I, but want to wait until Jed is home to ask us. That might be a little while, so I will enjoy the reprieve for a bit.
Jed has been in physical therapy for a few weeks now. He is doing good, but comes home sore. We have hopes for a full recovery. He flew to Manhattan yesterday, and may have to be there until Labor day. This will be the longest separation since moving to Arizona. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments at work. He has been dubbed "Chief" over this job. He has an apartment in New York that he is sharing with other guys on the crew. Of all the places he has been with work, he has not been to New York since his Bungee days.
The kids have been in school for 2 weeks now. They are way busy with homework. I like being back on a schedule. It really helps everything flow better.
I saw the endocrinologist today. He is basically starting from square one again. I have to have 2 different ultrasounds, a bone density scan, and more bloodwork. I go back to see him on September 10. All my tests are next week. As far as my thyroid goes, I am feeling just fine. I have a sore throat and my ear feels plugged, but the doctors really think this is due to allergies. I have been on so many medicines lately, and felt so crappy, that I am not sure why I am so tired. It could be the medicine, it could be that I haven't been eating or sleeping very well. So, my next goal is to really concentrate on my eating, sleeping and exercise habits. I am determined to feel well one way or the other. If I could get these things under control, I am sure that I won't be so tired and I will be better prepared to deal with the thyroid issues when they come up.
A really good friend of mine recently said that it sounds like the Tolman family has moved to the Doctor's office. It gave me a good laugh, but I just want to say, it was only temporary! We are determined to get better, get healthier and be happier. Thanks to all of you who love and support us. Thank you for all the prayers. If nothing else, they at least help to keep us comforted in our times of trial. We love you all.
